INS is a leading family-owned Australian Health Care Company dedicated to delivering quality services that support people in their home

The INS Group comprises a Community Health division (INS Health Care) as well as a specialised Health Care and Personal Response Centre operation (INS LifeGuard), providing integrated Health Care and eHealth Services throughout Australia. As one of the oldest Community Care providers in Australia, we have substantial experience in providing home health care services as well as eHealth and accompanying assistive technologies.

From a staff of three attending four patients per week in the Illawarra, INS has grown considerably since it was first established in 1984. At present we have about a hundred people providing service for many individuals in the Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Macarthur and Sydney areas, some of whom receive more than one service per day. Many of these clients are veterans or war widows. The remainder comprise a mixture of people with varied needs, some requiring long-term care.

We are committed to delivering a comprehensive range of health related services 24 hours a day, seven days a week including personal care, domestic assistance, shopping, companionship, transport, social outings, gardening and lawn mowing. We believe people deserve options to best suit their individual care needs, and we offer solutions that provide quality care while respecting their dignity and privacy.

Our staff includes Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Palliative Care Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, Personal Carers, Domestic Cleaners, and Yard and Maintenance Workers. All staff have been carefully screened and are provided with continuous, ongoing education. They understand that sensitivity and discretion are important factors in all facets of care.
