Stockland is the third to pilot The INS Group’s new TeleHealth service at their Lourdes Retirement Village in Killara NSW

The INS Group’s unique, patented TeleHealth system known as the LifeGuard SmartKiosk was launched in May, with the first installation in New South Wales and a second in Victoria.
The LifeGuard SmartKiosk is designed to assist with monitoring the health of individuals, particularly those with medical conditions such as diabetes, COPD, chronic heart failure or unstable blood pressure, in a group setting.
Stockland’s Lourdes Retirement Village in Killara, New South Wales, is the third village to trial the new system, which was installed in their Community Centre on Thursday, 13th June
2013. The team from INS tested the system and educated Deborah Drummond, Village Manager, and other village staff on its use.
There is also a home version called the LifeGuard SmartHome, suitable for private homes and independent living units. Either unit provides an integrated remote monitoring system to enable enhanced living and improve the quality of life for those who are older or who have a disability.

INS is grateful for the financial assistance towards the pilots received from the Illawarra Region Innovation and Investment Fund – a joint initiative from AusIndustry, NSW Trade and Investment, and Blue Scope Steel.
